That plan did not go well for Chinedu and Hauwa! That's amazing that the father knew, just from Chinedu's name, that he is from a different culture. How sad. But it's a good story.

I have some writing tips to share with you, @mcluz, in order to improve your writing and grammar. We love and appreciate all cultures in The Ink Well, and we know that English is not the primary language for many of our members. So we have some tools to help.

Please see the post Help for the Grammatically Challenged in our Catalog of Writing Tips. If you use Google docs (a free online tool), it will indicate many of your grammatical problems.

Here is an example from your last paragraph:

All of the underlined items are incorrect words. If you click on the underlined item, it provides the correction, and you can click again to accept the change. In this way, you can easily improve your writing before you post it here, and you will receive higher rewards.
