What a sweet story, @dwixer. I think I will insist upon having a cat when I am elderly. They are such a comfort.

I was so amazed by this kitten picture. It looks just like my cat as a kitten! The other amazing thing was that you kept mentioning angels in your story, and my cat was named Angel. Sadly, we lost her this past week. (I wrote a story for the prompt yesterday in her memory!)
