RE: Ruins Castle

in The Ink Welllast year

Edith's determination in restoring that castle kept me in awe, however one mistake she made was thinking she could make it on her own, no man is an island, remember. Thank God for Jonathan who made her see reasons why she needed extra hands. This had justifies the saying that goes "if you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go with together. Nice story 👍

You make an excellent point - no one can do everything alone. Edith's independent spirit and desire to take on the project herself was coming from a good place, but Jonathan helped open her eyes to the fact that reaching out doesn't make you weak, it makes your dreams stronger. It takes a village, as they say!

I'm happy you enjoyed the message about cooperation and community at the story's heart. That collaborative spirit is so important, not just in grand projects like castle restoration, but in all aspects of life. Thanks again for your comment - it will help me continue to grow and improve as a writer. I appreciate you taking the time to engage with my work!
