GREETINGS EVERYONE
John has high hopes for people and that was basically how he grew up not until the unexpected happened.
It was a bright and beautiful morning, the sun had set from its usual position, and the sky is blue and bright filled with wonderful birds producing diverse sounds which made the morning more colorful.
John happened to be the only child of his parents so they very much brought him up in ways that everything he wanted was very much given to him they were never a time he asked for something that he didn't get it. And to crown it all he was brought up in a very isolated environment away from other kids this made him know little about how other people behave generally all know was things he had read from books.
He had lived with his parents all his life not until his mom fell ill and things started to change a little bit but changed totally when he lost his mom to sickness and his dad in a very fatal accident. He started to live alone for some time and got tired of the whole situation so he set out on a journey to meet his uncle who lived in the city.
The only thing he had was the address of the uncle and the knowledge he had of other people from the books he had read, and from the book, all the things he had read about other people were all good and great, and will really want you to meet them but the reverse became the case for him.
Hence, the unexpected journey began for him. His first encounter was in the bus station where he was to take a bus to the city his uncle lived, he was shocked how everything was very much unorganized and so frightful the activities and way of doing things was they, he was scared at that instant he started to get a bad feeling about the whole thing but he still entered the bus though.
When he got to the city, as he opted out of the bus, he needed a direction to his destination, the person he happened to come across and tried talking to him ran he was like what did I do wrong, or am I that bad or smell. This made him feel so bad and made him get that feeling of rejection.
He happened to meet another person but this person was rude and even made attempt on robbing him of his belongings only to be saved by a kind and gentle man passing by who came to his aid and rescued him from the person trying to rob him of his belongings. This samaritan happen to give the necessary directions he needed and that was it for him he thanked him and they beaded fairware.
On the part of John, he learned three things:
The world is not as it is in books we read, in real-life situations, those love, romance, and the peace we feel on reading those books are mostly chaos and disaster.
He also learned that they are people in this world who are bad, not really ready to help others, and hence always taking advantage of strangers and that was quite bad.
Lastly, he learned that no matter how bad things are in this world, they are always those set of people who are out they and ready to do good in all the little ways they can.
In the end, the impressions John got on the encounter of the real world were far more than he imagined, he was first of all welcomed with something bad but later changed his perspective of viewing things as he was helped.
Quite an adventure for him, he had learned a lot of lessons from this little journey he made.
Thanks for reading dear friends

And John met with his uncle? I would have liked to know how that meeting went.
He learned a lot during the journey and I agree with the points he picked, life is indeed not as we read in books and there is more to it than reading about it. Experience tells more about what life is.
Greetings, @gi-de-on! John's limited experience with people leads him into amazing situations. Your story leaves an open ending so we have no idea what will happen to the main character.
We often provide feedback to writers who are just getting started. The Ink Well has some great resources in our catalog of fiction writing tips. For example, we have tips on developing characters in your stories, and integrating action, dialog and narrative. These resources can help you learn how to include the important elements of fiction in your stories.

Very cool writing.
Indeed, for people who are used to living in isolation, they will find unexpected things when they start to get out of the zone. and this happens a lot in human life.
