In a small city called Pia, there was this man named Johnny, a known hardworking glass slab trader. Who is married to his wife Kemi, together had two children. Johnny buys glass slab and sells it in his mini community but wasn't making much to cater for his family. Meanwhile, Kemi an auxiliary nurse, earns a little more than her husband. As a result of this Johnny sometimes feels inferior for bringing lesser to the table. He complains about any slightest issues and blames their conflicts on Kemi for earning more.

One day, he heard that his rich friend Steve was in town and he thought of going to see Steve perhaps he could lend him some money to expand his business. Fortunately for Johnny, Steve being a very generous man gave Johnny quite an amount to expand his business.

Excitingly and with great enthusiasm, Johnny bought lots of glass slabs and brought it home since he has no outlet to put them yet. He parked them altogether and sat in front of it. Then Johnny went on a deep thought.

Johnny's Thought....
" Oh how lucky I am to have a very generous friend. Am not going to take this for granted. Am going to sell off all this glass slabs making enough money to rent an outlet then I will buy more to sell and more and more" (smiling and shaking his legs while thinking). Again he thought " Am really going to put my effort into this business to show people especially Kemi that I too will be very rich. Then I am going to get a fancy car, build luxurious houses in big cities and of course marry one more wife. Am going to make Kemi feel very jealous that she will learn to respect me. Then she will go on her kneels begging me to eat her food and to spend more time with her because I already have another wife. Hmm, angrily I will kick her off and say oh get away woman you have always looked down on me"

While in his thoughts, Johnny kicked off the glass slabs right in front of him hardly as he was lost in thought. All the glass slabs fell on each other until they were all destroyed. He placed his hands on his head with a loud scream "I am finished!" His wife Kemi ran in to see if there was any way she could help, but all were destroyed. Regrettably, He couldn't explain what happened to his wife.

Eventually, Kemi got some money from her savings to help Johnny get another goods. This time he was wise enough. He promised himself never to be boastful to his wife or ever try getting a new wife. Johnny ended up a successful man in his business as he has thought but never venture into marrying another wife.

Thanks for reading.

Oh! That was a quick fireback at him. I wish this is how life happens to us, it would have been easier for us to pick corrections😂.

Nice story

His Karma was quick 😂

Who in their right sense think jealousy breeds respect? Foolish Johnny 😂

Wow, it felt like that story should not end... This was so narrative, I could paint the pictures of each scenario while reading through

Thank God Johnny came back to his senses to know that in relationships, we are to support and not complete. A good teammate makes up a good friendship, and good friendship makes up good relationships
