The moment that changed everything!

"Which dress I should wear tomorrow?" Hira asked while she kept both dresses in front of Tina

"I think this pink is going to be perfect for your performance."

" Omg...I was thinking the same. You will see, how I will steal the whole show. I am so excited that even I can't explain."

Hira and Tina were cousins and they both lived in the same house. They grew up and studied together in the same school and college. It was their friend's birthday party and they were invited there. All the friends decided to dance to have some fun. They all were planning it for a long time and finally, the day was here. Hira was crazy about dance as she was used to doing different practices at home, so she was also excited about the party. In the morning, she got up early and practiced different dance moves on her favorite song. Her mom also scolded her for being too crazy for dancing, but all was in vain.

"So, are you ready to see my dance? She asked Tina while she played the song in a loud voice.

" Are you crazy Hira? This is the 10th time, I have been watching your dance since yesterday and every time I tell you that it's perfect, but still you are not satisfied." She replied.

But she never paid heed to her words and kept busy dancing. She laughed as usual and saw it once again. In the evening, they both got ready and left for the party. Hira was looking beautiful in a long pink dress. But a mishap happened, their car got punctured as soon as they crossed the road. Hira was mad at this,

"OMG...What is this? What if we get late for the party? I can't afford that, please do something." She said this to her uncle who was driving the car.

" Hira please don't panic, it will be alright soon. Uncle replied to make her calm, but she was not ready to hear anything. After checking the car her uncle was not able to find a problem. So he said,

"We would have to bring this car to the workshop."

"Workshop? We are going to be late for sure then." Hira said while she was roaming around the car. Luckily the workshop was near so he took the car to the workshop after a while, the problem was resolved and he restarted the car. They arrived at the party and never got late as we left their home early. Hira and Tina entered their friend's house which was beautifully decorated. The thing they liked the most was the bulging lights in the corner.

Most of the guests were already there. They also met with their other friends and Tina asked Hira to sit at one place. But in her excitement, she was not ready to hear what she said and she kept walking here and there. Soon, the birthday girl came and they met her and presented her gifts. She was looking gorgeous. At 8 pm all the guests were there so she was ready to cut her cake. The ceremony went well. They also took many pictures and wished her a year full of blessings.

After cutting the cake all friends sat in a circle and had great fun together. Now finally it was a time for dance performances. One of their friends went to the stage to perform and everyone applauded her. Hira was waiting for her turn anxiously.

"Are you ready? Just keep your phone ready to capture my dance. " She said this to Tina.

" Don't worry, I am ready."

Now finally it was her turn. Hira stood up in excitement and headed towards the stage. But something just happened suddenly. Hira stopped and looked at Tina with worry.

"What happened? Is everything OK?" She asked.

She nodded and pointed towards her heel. It was broken. She immediately sat beside Tina to fix it, but nothing worked. This was the moment that changed everything. All her excitement was gone and she apologized to perform. Later she spent all the time sitting at one place. Tina was sad at what happened to her. Perhaps her over-excitement was the reason for this mishap. Anyway, she compensated her and asked her to perform next time. Then they left for home.
