Dare

Ronald's father was the sales manager of a company who makes toys, he always got new toys to promote, Ronald's father use to give those toys after promotion to his son when he played, so Ronald spent his childhood with his favourite toys, he did not get a chance to spend much time with friends.

Ronald was the only son of his parents, so he was raised with much love by both of them, but Ronald also had a weakness, he was afraid of loneliness and the dark It seemed that he could not enter any part of the house without turning on the light.

As time passed, Ronald became very intelligent in their studies and he was selected to study medical science, he now had to stay away from home in a medical college hostel to become a doctor.

Ronald was about 18 years old, but being the only child, the parents were also sad when sending him away from home, as well as Ronald was also going to be out of the house for the first time, so he was terrified.
The first week in the medical college went well, then one day the senior students called the new students for an introduction, in this introduction meeting Ronald was asked to tell about his hobbies, strengths and shortcomings. Ronald, due to her simple nature, told that he fears darkness and loneliness.

Just the seniors think to prank him and say to him because now you have to become a doctor, so now fear will not work, you will have dared to go one day in that haunted lab in which no one goes now. This lab has been lying closed for last 5-6 years.

In this medical college, it was necessary for junior students to follow the orders of the seniors or else their life would have been made difficult, and he would be harassed in various ways.

Only two friends had been made in his college, they told him that the lab is known by the name of the ghostly place, so stay there carefully.

Ronald was so scared to go into that ruined building which was famous as ghostly because he was so coward. how can he dare to enter that haunted building? But he also had to go, and spend a whole night there, so that he could stand respectfully in front of his senior student colleagues.

In a very frightening condition from inside, he entered that haunted lab at 8 o'clock in the night with a sheet, some food items, a torch, a water bottle, and a whistle etc. At the entrance of the lab, he saw an electric switch which, when turned on against his expectation, spread a faint light in the room. When he saw the scene there, he realized that there was a fire in the lab. The room was completely blackened, the lab counters had not been used since, spiders had made webs, many of the glass tools were still lying broken. On the other side of the room a chair was kept in a burnt condition. There was a very scary atmosphere but Ronald was satisfied that the light was on there.

Ronald laid his bed sheet on the door and sat on it and took the cross hanging around his neck, someone had told him that ghosts do not come near if the cross is nearby. About 4 hours passed like this sitting silently, there was no sound.

Then he saw at exactly 12 o'clock that the chair kept there suddenly started shaking, seeing this, Ronald's life trembled, he wanted to shout in fear but the sound did not come out of his mouth, he became stunned at that. Now he saw that from the back door a black shadow whose face was burnt, and he had put a robe all over his body, came and sat on that chair.
Now Ronald's remaining courage also left and he went into a state of unconsciousness, his heart beat became very fast. Then he became completely unconscious.

After about 2 hours, when he opened his eyes, he saw that he was lying on a clean bed in a room, and in front of him, a gentleman about 55 years old was sitting in a new chair. Black curtains were put in to prevent the light from going out in this room, and all the doors and windows were tightly closed. At first, Ronald did not believe that he was still alive or dead, then he slowly asked the man who is he, where am I at this time.

That man said to him that he is Dr Edward, and he was that ghost which is famous in medical college.

Dr Edward continued to say that it was a long story he was doing research on the topic, Genetic mutations are changes to your DNA sequence that occur during cell division when your cells make copies of themselves.
This test showed that DNA tells your body how to form and function. Genetic mutations can cause genetic conditions such as cancer.

These hereditary mutations occur in almost every cell of a person's body throughout life. Hereditary mutations include cystic fibrosis, haemophilia, and sickle cell disease. These mutations can occur on their own during a person's life. These are called sporadic, spontaneous or new mutations.

Somehow my subordinate colleague came to know about this research and he told one of my enemy professors who was jealous of me and my reputation. This enemy professor and my colleague together cheated me and caused a fire accident in the lab to steal my research papers.

But fortunately, I survived and ran away from here to an unknown place with my research papers, no one had even found my dead body, because the dead body was found in here fully burned position that was used by me for research, all the public think that body was mine.

then I disguised this place to be a haunted place and people were afraid to come here because sometimes at night I used to scare them all like ghosts. Taking advantage of this, in this lab, I am hiding from the world and completing the rest of my research, so that no one again becomes a hindrance in my research.

Dr. Edward continued to say, I secretly come around 12 o'clock in the night to complete my research and leave at 5 o clock in the early morning, today after 6 years I was very surprised to see someone in this lab. Now I request you that do not to tell this thing to anyone else I will suffer a lot. All the hard work I have done for humanity will again go in vain.
Ronald promised him that he would not tell anyone, and the next morning he left the lab at 7 o'clock and went to his room, before leaving he took some photos of the lab with his mobile to show his senior students.
Now Ronald had become very courageous, his fear of ghosts had also left his mind.

Now Ronald had become very famous in all the medical colleges that he had lived in a ghostly lab for one whole night and nothing happened to him.

Ronald did not tell about Dr Edward to anyone, but he remained in touch with him even later and Dr Edward's research paper was published after 10 years in the name of Dr Ronald because Dr Edward had already died 16 years ago in the eyes of the world. And he was living by changing his identity.
