They think their books have all the answers.

I got into it with the History professor when I was in school. He was very book oriented and my argument - as I heard a different story from the Elders on the rez - was that History books are written by the 'winners' of wars and such. He didn't like that. But I mean, Native American influence and involvement is now all but gone from them. Sad.

    He didn't like it? Then why should he teach a subject, if he doesn't want to investigate it? Not much of a way to live!
