You are the sunset in my small town

In your white dress styled like an angel in the hallowed light

Will you love me in the evening

when I'm not glowing

or looking glamourous

I have felt alone for too long

I fear that you'll leave at night

that I will wake up and you are not here

promise that you'll stay

I have had dreams

wished for a star

I hope you are the one

my light, my hue, my all

You are the better place my heart drifted to

I have always hoped that someday I will find a place

for my heart

to confide my fears

to lay my feelings plain

see through me

you are all I have ever desired

make me believe

give me a reason

would I see you in the morning
