On a bright Saturday morning I caught myself getting prepared for a wedding i had been invited to by a childhood friend. It had been a while since I attended a social gathering to talk less about a wedding. It was an anxious morning trying to figure out what outfit to put on while also thinking about the numerous faces I’ll be seeing and a potential reunion with a lot of childhood buddies.

It's funny how ladies would be nurturing thesame thought as us but can't open up unless a guy presses. It's good you found a soulmate in a wedding event. Hope the relationship lasted?
This is a cute take on the prompt, which offers a whimsical encounter of two like-minded souls. However, it would have been wonderful to see the addition of dialogue, as well as more character development.
These are two important elements of quality fiction that can bring a story to life. You have done a very nice job with the narrative, but it would be even better if you told some of the story in action, and added dialogue so the characters speak to each other. Here are a few resources for you:
