In the year 1990, in a town called Campoma, there was a man named Mario, who many people in the town disliked because Mario was one of the poorest and nobody wanted to associate with him, thinking he was a bum.
Mario since he was very young, he liked to work, although he did not have a university degree, he is very intelligent and with many talents, suddenly on Mario falls a streak of bad luck, he gets fired from work, he gets sick, his wife breaks up with him and begins divorce proceedings, he does not even know what to do to get out of the bad luck.
One day, when Mario was about to leave the house, he noticed that a letter had been passed under the door, he bent down to pick it up, to read what was written, when he opened the letter he could read that it told him to walk to the mountain that was behind his house, that when he had 20 minutes walking to the mountain he would find an old hut, he should go to the door and knock on it. Mario proceeded to do what the letter said, and when he had 20 minutes walking he could see an old hut and after arriving at the door he knocked on it and was opened by an old woman with a strange look and a hoarse tone of voice, the old woman gave him a necklace and said "Wear this necklace always, since this necklace has two wish bones, everything you wish for will be fulfilled" said Mario surprised, "What do you gain with that?". The old woman smiles and says "It's just for being a good Samaritan, take it with confidence". Mario proceeded to take it and left the old hut, he started walking back to his house to sleep, as it was very late at night.
Several minutes after arriving home and when he was lying on his bed, he took the necklace and stared at the small bones and in his mind only crossed his mind that if it was true that it would fulfill any wish.
Several days passed, and he always had the same thought in his mind, he had the same thought for 3 months, until he decided to test if it was true or false. The first wish was to be the owner of a business, after spending several days in his town one of the few people who loved him died and left his business in Mario's name, he was saddened by the death of his friend, 3 days later the lawyer of the deceased contacted Mario to inform him that he was the only owner of the business, Mario found out that he was the heir of his friend's business, he was surprised and exclaimed "My God!".
The next day Mario starts to think, certainly these wish bones come true, but he is afraid to make another wish, because he thinks that if he does, someone else might die, Mario thinks all night and decides to go to the old hut to give it back to the old woman.
The next day, Mario, during the afternoon, begins to walk towards the mountains and after 20 minutes he does not find the old hut and begins to feel fear and worry, he walks a little more and still does not find anything at all, Mario decides to return to his house, and try again to locate the hut, and without being able to say anything to anyone, after a few minutes of returning he arrives home and proceeds to rest.
So the days went by and Mario always went to see if he could find the old hut, one day Mario was tired of trying to find the old hut and the old lady, he decided not to go to where the hut was, after 3 days he decided to go to where the old hut was with a shovel to dig and bury the necklace, then he did it and went home, when he arrived he went straight to his room and when he saw the necklace it was on his bed.
After several days passed, one night, while walking home, he met the old woman and said "Please, I'll give you back your necklace, I don't want it". The old lady smilingly says, "Are you sure you don't want the necklace of the lucky bones?". And Mario replies, "Yes, ma'am, I'm absolutely sure". The old lady says, "You have learned your lesson, shortcuts are not always good. Goodbye."
