I got home and saw my Mum sitting on the couch. She was surprised to see my sad face. She was curious to know what could have been the problem.

"Why do you look moody? Any problem?" She asked

"Is this the time I usually returned? Didn't you check the time?" I said

Then, she realized that this was not the time I usually return.

"It is true. Any problem?" She asked

"I have been sacked?" I said

I explained to her that their job is too stressful. "I returned home late yesterday. My body is not an engine. I was very tired, and I slept off and when I woke up this morning, you saw how I rushed out. Then they saw, I came late. And I made them know that their job is too stressful. That if I closed early from office yesterday, I won't come late the next day." I said

I was jobless for some months. One day, I was checking something on the internet when I saw an advert for an employment agency, I decided to give it a trial. The following day, I got the company. I was directed to the interviewer's office. I enter the office but the man was on call. I had to wait for him to end the call.

What can I do for you? He asked

"Hello Mr. Tony, I saw your advert online that you get a job for people. That is why I came to meet you because I need a job." I said

"Presently, we have a vacancy for a teacher. We have jobs in the bakery. We have jobs in hotels and sachets water company." He said

"All that you said is the direct opposite of what you wrote on the internet. You said you get jobs which pay about $2,000 per month as salary and all the ones you mentioned none reached $500." I said

"Those are available too. But the available ones presently are these." He replied

"You shouldn't have placed an advert. What you did was wrong. It is just as if you are scamming people." I said.

I leave there very disappointed. I had just been fooled by an internet advert. After a few days, I got a good job.

Hey there. A lot of fake Jobs in the Internet, one must be careful. You've got an interesting story line, I feel a lot more could be added to this to build something beautiful.

You've described a difficult situation for the story narrator. It's a good story conflict, which is one of the most important aspects of storytelling. When the reader sees that that main character is dealing with a problem, they become interested and want to read more.

You also did a very nice job with your dialog. The way the narrator converses with his mother and the scam employer is very realistic. Nice job!
