RE: A Tale Of My Secret Pages [Non-Fiction]

in The Ink Welllast year

Every generation has its 'guilty' book, read with a flashlight, under the covers. Years ago (even before my time) it was Lady Chatterley's Lover. When I was an adolescent it was Tropic of Cancer. It's a rite of passage and as misdeeds go, this one is rather benign. Taught you a good lesson too.

This was really well written. You built the suspense as I wondered in the beginning of the piece, What is that terrible thing she's doing?

What is that terrible thing she's doing?

😄 I'm happy I got my readers' attention with the suspense. I didn't want to jump straight to my guilty pleasure. That incident was a great lesson for me, especially when it comes to prioritizing the things in my life.

And I've always wanted to read Lady Chatterley's Lover but never got around to it. Though I watched the movie some months ago. Sizzling! It's always a pleasure to read your take on my posts. Thank you! !LADY 🙂
