A good story. What fascinated me was Selena's running commentary on the woman in the park. Selena seems fixated on the woman's parenting. This on a day when Selena is meeting a father who failed to parent her properly. It was a kind of parallel development, and added insight into Selena's emotional acceptance of her father's neglect.
I enjoy it when an author brings intelligence to a story, rather than writing for mere entertainment. I saw that intelligence here :)
I appreciate you taking the time to read through my story.
I see Selena as a young woman about to take an important step in her life and the mother and toddler were like the perfect, soothing balm she needed before she finally faced her father.
