How The Party Went.

I once lived on a popular island in Lagos called Lekki. If I am not mistaken, there is no night club that I haven’t visited in Lekki. I know everyone may think I’m just going to clubs to have fun and you’re right about that but I engage in clubbing activities for business.
This is not just clubbing but parties. I mean, celebrities parties, shows and so much more.
For someone like me who loves to engage in such things, going to the club is advisable so that I can meet new people whom we have alike dreams so that we can work together.
Luckily for me, I’m a very jovial and free person so I’m able to mingle with so many people. I began to have contacts of event or party planners.

I also had contacts of party executives and disk jockeys so that I will be updated about parties that will be happening very soon. Also, if there was anyone who wants to have a party where we can sell ticket and make money from that, I can always merge with such person and we can make profit together.
That was how I met Tonia and Peace. These two girls are one of the hottest in clubs and they go to every party that exists. The host parties in clubs and are always able to cash out from them.
Tonia then brought business to me and I bought the idea.

”Babe, I think we should host a party but I want us to do it in a way that we are going to invite some upcoming celebrities and if we put their picture on our artwork, a lot of people will want to buy the ticket,” Tonia said to me.

”Hmm, I’m feeling you. It makes sense to me and it will be easier for us since we are going to share the bills and the profit too,” I responded to her and we began to make plans for the party.

Tonia and I were supposed to save $200 each for the party and that’s because things were not expensive then so $400 for a party will go a long way.
Tonia was able to drop her money the next day and we were able to rent the event venue, we also paid the major upcoming artiste his charge but I had not dropped my money. I get monthly salary from my dad and my hope was on the monthly salary. Sadly, the day I was going to be given the salary is the day we will have the party.

”Babe, my dad hasn’t sent my money and he said he will send it on that party day. Should we still carry on but one thing I am sure of is that I won’t disappoint,” I said to Tonia.

”It’s not a problem as long as we can pay for a few things we’d be needing that morning,” Tonia responded to me and my mind was at rest that I will get the money.

A day to the party came and my dad sent me a message.
”Hi dear, how is everything over there? Please, I may be sending your allowance late because I need to use the money for something important.”

My stomach began to rumble because I didn’t know where to go to and I had an event in the corner. I called Tonia and explained to her but she felt very disappointed. Immediately, she went to the owner of the ticket company where our ticket money went to. She told the CEO what had just happened and he agreed to release our money to us that day and the normal agreement was that we get the money after the event. Well, a part of our money was deducted by the company because we didn’t process the withdrawal at the agreed time and we didn’t even wait to count the tickets before we got the money.

The deduction was not a lot of money but meant something and it affected myself and Tonia but she was so kind that she never got angry despite how my plans ruined hers.

I felt very bad and embarrassed that I didn’t do as I said even though it was not my fault.
I disliked the fact that I was banking on my father’s money that I had not yet received.
This taught me not to count my chickens before they hatch anymore but the party became a successful one and we made profit.
