He Lost The Contract.

Baba Femi is a very popular block industry owner in Savannah street, Lagos state. He’s not just a block industry owner but a real estate agent who sells land, houses and also give them out to people to rent.
Since he’s a very popular man, he was given a huge contract.
He was so fortunate to have gotten the huge contract from a company. He was asked to monitor a huge building they were about to build from the beginning of the project to the end and if possible, he will also help get new tenants into the house once it is done.
The project began and Baba Femi monitored the property with diligence and made sure to do the job well so that he can get another contract from them.

Things were going well until one day. The company’s manager called Baba Femi and the conversation went thus.

Hello, Baba Femi. How are you doing? the company’s manager said.

I’m fine sir and I’m glad to tell you that the project is going fine sir, Baba Femi responded.

That’s a good one. Please sir, we have one other house on that same street and we will give you the key to the compound. We want to sell that property so we can get a bigger one, the manager said.

Baba Femi was so happy to hear that because he was so sure that he will get some extra money if he is able to sell the property.
Suddenly, he started to sell some other things in that house like the water tank, pumping machine and some other things since they want to sell the property.
Baba Femi was given an ultimatum but he could not meet up.
And since the company didn’t get a good buyer for the property, they decided to renovate it so that they can get some tenants to start living there and also, they will be able to get money from it.

That was when Baba Femi started to run helter skelter because he had already sold the tank and some other things that belong to that house. Now, the company had chosen not to sell the house again, what will he do?
Baba Femi tried all his best to make sure that he buys all the things he sold in that house but he could not. He already spent the money he made from the things he sold.
Unfortunately, the company’s manager came to check the house so that they can know what corrections and renovations they can make to the house but he was shocked when he got there and saw that some things were missing in the house.
He looked into Baba Femi’s eyes and asked him what was going on.

Baba Femi, why can’t I find the tank, pumping machine and other things that belong to this house? the manager asked.

Sir, when I opened the gate and came inside this house for the first time, this was how it is and has always been, Baba Femi said.

The manager was surprised because he was so sure that there were those things right there in that house. This led to an argument and the manager went on to remove the hidden camera in the house. Baba Femi was surprised that there was a hidden camera in that house.
Eventually, they watched the video of what had happened in that house and they watched the video where Baba Femi was selling the tank and even came back to the house on that same day to sell the pumping machine to the same person.
He even went as far as selling broken tiles to some people who buy unused items. There were even some other things they didn’t notice that was missing in the house but the hidden camera helped them discover everything.

Baba Femi could not watch the compete video because he was so ashamed of himself. He knew this would make him lose the contract he had won earlier. It was just like magic because he had guessed right. Mr Femi lost the contract and was even charged to court.
When they got to court, Baba Femi was asked to pay back all he had spent or buy all he had sold and also making sure that they are still in a new condition.
Baba Femi had no choice than to do all what he was told to at the court and that was the end of relationship between him and the real estate company.
