HELLO HIVE
I recently picked up a new challenge for myself and it was a challenge that was worth it , scrolling through my Facebook page few months back I came across this free software engineering online training program for young people in Africa, but before that I had already developed a love for software engineering after one of my physics professors in the university opened up many opportunities that coding could bring to us physics students and it was even weird that physics students in the second year in the university did not have any experience on what coding was all about.
We make use of a lot of softwares and tech equipment like computers to some extent even though the exposure to that is small and phones that some of us have been using almost all our lives and that is how bad it was .

One particular topic was been treated in class by this lecture,it was a subject part called classical mechanics and special relativity in physics . In the middle of the class he deviated a little and told us about how the famous Arab hotel called (burj Al Arab)was designed using programming in physics and that was like the first time I heard about this and I went on to read a little bit about it and programming and it was so nice the amount of possibilities that one could achieve using programming.

Then I joined this 12 months free program for African youths although it is no more entirely free anymore, the curriculum is really challenging for people who are new to programming because you will have to complete different task within a day or three days and you are graded based on that task, and we were trained using a peer learning system to accomplish your task although you will be provided with relevant materials we started with Linux and are currently on c programming and every month you have to meet a required percentage score to continue.
I may not have made it pass the first month but the challenge of staying up all night just to complete a given task before the deadline has really brought in a competitive attitude in me and a lot of hunger towards this ,the more I dive into it the more I see that I have missed quite a lot all this time.
All my work was done using my phone because I didn't have a laptop but still I couldn't let go this opportunity,I installed termux on my phone which I linked with my terminal using ssh keys and password that way I can code directly from my phone.
I have to acknowledge the work software engineers put into this software, they might look simple but when you get to try them then you Know that it is a huge mental exercise on its own .
Computational physics is a field that i will surely love to explore.
We are also made to create a GitHub account where we usually push our projects to when we are done with the project for the day .
The experience was really good and encouraging and I won't hesitate to try again if a chance like this comes in the future, thank you alx and all the software engineers out there your work is well appreciated.

STOPSounds like you're already putting in the hard work and you've already got the right attitude - keep at it!
Thank you
I admire your resilience, despite not having a laptop, keep it up.
