Here we are another week past so quickly.
Land update time again.
I will be honest with you I wanted to push through another bigger set of updates but this week was a bit rough. Day job needed more focus and time and on top of that the holiday season is knocking on the door. Christmas shopping and all that fun stuff.

💬 Ideas and feature requests are always welcome. No promises but I will take a look and try my best.
Feature walkthrough
The biggest part of this update is alerts. If you already watched the video from @aftersound together with @azircon you have seen some of this in action. Give them a like and a subscribe if you have not already.
Negative DEC alerts
This feature started as a request from @warrentrx. He asked if it was possible to get alerts when certain plots are running at a negative DEC output.
At first I hesitated. With research and almost always an aura lab active you would get spammed by alerts. That did not feel right.
So I split it up.
Natural resources
- Grain
- Iron
- Wood
- Stone
Non natural resources
- SPS
- AURA
- RESEARCH
Grain can never be net negative so you will never see an alert there.
For the other resources there is a situation where selling the grain used for production gives you more DEC than selling the produced resource itself. That is where this alert kicks in.
Here is a live example from my own setup where the query shows a negative DEC output.
And right after that the alert triggers.

Note: I still want to improve this alert by adding region info later on.
This information can help you decide if you want to keep a plot running or turn it off and use the grain in another way.
In my personal case I keep them running. I need the stone and I am not selling it so for me it is not really a loss. But everyone has a different situation and you should act based on your own goals.
Power Core alerts
One of these alerts was high on my own wish list but @keeegs requested a few more that turned out to be very interesting.
I originally misunderstood how land cards (with energized) worked. If you use a land card with Energize you do not need a power core. I expected that placing such a card would automatically remove the power core.
Well that did not happen.
So you could end up with Energize active and still consuming a power core. Thanks to @keeegs we now have alerts for that.
Current Power Core alerts are:
Unused power cores
Based on your balance minus used cores

Double power cores
Plot is powered and also has an Energize ability

No power cores
Simply no power source available

Cinder
Cinder is now added to the resource overview.
Nice and simple but very useful to have it visible in the same place as the other resources.

Labors Luck production overview PP
Another request from @keeegs.
You can now see how much PP is active on plots that have Labors Luck. This is shown in the region production overview with a new column.

Both base PP and boosted PP are included.
Some background here. This PP is used for calculating the chance to land a special foil land card from the 20th which is today.
For now I will not add the actual chance per plot. That calculation or estimate is not exposed in the current API. The result only becomes visible after harvest on the Splinterlands site.
This overview does respect filters. So if you want to see how much Labors Luck PP is on legendary plots only you can do that.

Closing thoughts
That is it for this week.
A bit less than I originally planned but the todo list keeps growing so I will be busy for a while anyway.
I hope you all enjoy the new updates. As always if you have questions ideas or weird edge cases feel free to reach out.
