My best celebration that I have been to

Tell us about one of the best celebrations, parties or events you've been to. What did you like about it and why, what happened there to make it so good or memorable.

This question really reminded me about the year-end party in 2018. That is special to me because it's my first new year in another country. And compare to the first day that I stepped on new land to nearly a year staying in that country. It's so meaningful to me, so my first year-end party in New Zealand is the best celebration that I have ever been to.
Looking back at that moment, I was staying in Roxburgh with @lynnnguyen. It's a small town on the South Island of New Zealand. I could not forget how surprised I was since Lynn told me it was just about 600 people are living in this town. Even not so many people but the beauty of this place is indisputable. I moved there around 1.5 months and enjoyed Black Friday, X-mas and year-end party there.
We had other Vietnamese there, we planned about opening a year-end party together. One of our friends booked a house in Queenstown for that day. All of us can go there and cook together. We were so excited and planned so much for that day. We just worked half-day on 31/12, after getting back home we prepared everything and headed to Queenstown to meet our friends. It took us a few hours to reach Queenstown. Oh the last day of the year, people were so busy preparing the party like us. Lynn and I came to the PaknSave there to buy food for the party. We bought everything for the bbq party, can't wait to grill it on.

Those are the photos that I took from the clip which I recorded that day.

The house had a view of the Remarkable and lake Wakatipu, that's my first impression to the house. It just took us 5 -10 minutes to reach the countdown. It's really memorable to me because we spend our time together and enjoy the moment of changing to the new year with all the blessings of fulfilling happiness and success. For me, although we're Vietnamese, we met in a foreign country and became friends and spent time together and got through the important moments which is so valuable. Now, we are having our own plans and staying far away, hope we are all good and soon to reunion again.
