Blush - My favorite pair

Some people splash hundreds and thousands on accessories, cars and the likes, but for me shoes and bags can take all my money.

I was on a date with a friend and asides the oud perfume he aggressively wore, another thing I couldn’t take my nose eyes off off were his shoes. I don’t know what they’re called but they were low, black and sleek with subtle imprints on them.
Even if he hadn’t dressed as nice as I expected (Men please try to make an effort on choosing an outfit to a date. Signed, Women) his shoes we’re able to turn any red flag green. He had just thrown a shirt and pants on with minimal accessories but once he came down from his car, the shoes drew my attention.
I also later got to find out that he’s a collector and the rest they say.. is history.

Before I take you all down the rabbit hole to my complicated love life, my favorite pair of shoes among my small collection would be my pink and nude Zara heels. I call her Blush.

It’s the first time I ever felt love at first sight. Initially I intended to buy a nude pair because I’m not really a color babe or so I thought, till I found her.
This beautiful pink heels with nude padding and the perfect straps.
As soon as I came across her on my timeline, I knew I had to invest. She was a bit pricy in this economy but she’s so worth it.

My Blush is attractive, she’s pointy, she’s high, she’s sexy, she’s got straps and best of all, she’s super comfortable.
When I walk in a room with her on, she shows me off. There’s no such thing as being basic with Blush. Even with the simplest outfit, I trust that she’ll always spice it up.

What especially made Blush my favorite asides her beauty was when I got complimented with money the first time I wore her out.
I went clubbing with a friend somewhere in Lagos mainland.
As we got there and were ushered to our seats, I noticed the Ladies and Gents there weren’t really vibing in the club. The DJ was amazing, he played nice tunes diverting from Afrobeats to amapiano, trap songs and even pop only to be appreciated by few people.
After a few drinks, I got tipsy on alcoholic wine, feeling daring and influenced by good music, I said F it I’m gonna dance. Normally with any other heels I wouldn’t dare because my feet would swell the next day but with Blush I was dangerously confident.
I got up and danced, feeling myself while making lots of videos on my phone only to notice cash flowing all over my body. Again the rest is history but believe it or not, that night I went home with over N100k cash.
Since then, I considered her as my personal lucky charm, shoe version.

Speaking of charm, the special arrangement of thread on the insole is one of the things I love about this heels. Most heels comes with cushion padding for more comfort but like I said there’s never anything basic with blush. She still renders comfort while maintaining beauty.
Matter of fact there’s nothing not to love in Blush and that’s why she’s my favorite.
