We're without electricity forever ………
What am I going to do?

Until a few moments ago electricity was the most important, I can say it was vital for life on earth, and everything revolved around the use of electricity.

What will mankind do from now on?

Today I'm responding to the weekend challenge issued by @galenkp

What if you had no electricity

Imagine there was no electricity anywhere in the world from right this moment. What would your life look like, how would you handle it and what negatives, problems, or benefits, do you think you’d encounter? Would it be good or bad?

Until a few moments ago I didn't even think about what life would be like without electricity, what it would be like if electricity suddenly disappeared without notice or expectation.

Everything around us is not working, people stuck in traffic, people stuck in subways, people stuck on construction sites, in offices nothing works, nobody can work, everything is blocked, even the refrigerator and air conditioning does not work, the cause is simple, lack of electricity.

After a few moments since this situation arose and since we learned that the problem of electricity returns is one that can never be solved and from now on we have to get used to this idea, suddenly a question came to my mind.

How could our grandparents, our great-grandparents, our ancestors have lived in those times without electricity and of course without the luxury and convenience of today?

The question and of course the answer to the question has calmed me down a bit but it still hasn't definitively gone away that I don't have electricity.

This leads me to think of a new beginning, a new part of life on earth that began the moment we ran out of electricity.

From what I've heard and seen some very confident people, they can manage without electricity anyway, without technology, these were all lies.

The lack of electricity has certainly created a strange situation, a chaos that was at the beginning, but which in my opinion will evolve very quickly, and I think we will end up with real street fights, fights for territory, fights for supremacy.

A few questions quickly come to mind, who will work in place of technology that no longer works, everything is very strange and here we can give many examples, who will bring home the food ordered at home by courier, who will work on the machines on construction sites, who will replace the functions of the internet, the air conditioner, cities will be full of abandoned electric cars, cities will become real urban jungles in a few years, have the slaves started to appear?

Have we gone back a few thousand years?

Until a few hours ago I didn't even think that we had anything to learn from the peoples of the* Middle Ages,* but forget that in these times their teachings would be the only escape.
Total chaos hasn't set in yet after a month because there was still food in stock to be able to survive, but the bad part now comes all the resources or the end of chaos reigns everywhere, fear of death.

With no electricity, the supply of fuel could not be done, because a temporary solution was some powerful generators, but as we no longer have fuel, they do not work either, from now on everything is paralyzed.

But as my remaining indifferent to this situation did not help me, I started looking for solutions, at first I improvised a diesel lamp (which I extracted from an abandoned car), so that we would not remain in the dark for a few minutes, and because it was getting cold outside, in an aluminium box I started to burn some books to warm us up a bit.

Even though we used to not make much of an effort to procure food, now is the time to go the miles to find something to hunt, yes lately we have specialized in hunting animals in the urban* jungle.*

The place where I slept was an apartment on the tenth floor of a building, an apartment that we had completely secured, access being made only through a very narrow place, we took these measures to avoid being attacked during the night by wild animals that have become masters of the jungle city.

Life goes on!
Are you ready to run out of electricity?

life backwards without electricity🤣

My opinion is that even without electricity human beings may be able to adapt to this environment, but with great effort.

we Chinese have a saying that 由俭入奢易,由奢入俭难 which means to live from poor to rich is easy but it is hard to live from rich to poor🙈

Indeed you are right, it is very easy to go from poor to rich and extremely difficult to go from rich to poor.
Here in Romania, these words also apply to us.
