On a cloudy day, preparing our breakfast outdoors - some Turkish coffee and our favorite oats with fruits and nuts.
With the hope that the sun will start to come up, we wrapped up the camp, cleaned the dishes and very positive energy started to leave our footprints near the river Iška.
For the ones who don't go out a lot in Autumn, it's very recommendable. You enjoy the colors and texture, the beautiful scenery.
Our eagle eyes (talent to spot interesting things) spotted some weird plant and creatures of the forest. Here we can say, this area is known for some bear visits as well. In the afternoon, when orientating where to go, we found one article talking about spotting some bears here in the area.
This is the song we started to sing to make some nice and also just for fun. In reality, it is just good to stay calm and maybe have some anti-bear spray just in case is something is happening.
We really enjoyed the walk, it was very diverse with small ups and downs. Reaching the spot where is cool camping place, again there we need to make the crossing of the river which was super fun.
There are many paths nearby to reach some hill peaks, and we took the one up to Usnje. This was quite a wild path, only upwards, and we made 300 meter elevation in less than an hour.
On top there was a nice view on nearby hills, one village and a hidden church. We explored a bit of the area and decide to take another path down to make a circle to the starting point.
To make the fire in the evening, we select some.
We found a nice spot, after building the tent and selecting the wood, we started with preparing the potatoes, dal, tomatoes, parsley, spinach, rukola, mushrooms and some spices on top. After some pieces of chocolate, we started with making a fire, even tho it was quite windy weather.
This time we took some moon and star photography. Very tired from the whole day hiking, we went to sleep very early. In the night, we could hear some animal voices, but we already knew this was a fox. No bears around. :)
Morning was very beautiful with the sun waking us up.

Fantastic time outdoors hiking through woods in cooler conditions would be more practical to the heat of summer months I would imagine.

What a great adventure by the woods you have experienced, my friend. You know I have phobias when it comes to insects. And that beetle in the photo, makes me scared. When I was younger, my classmate teased me with such insects making me scared about it. I have not experienced holding it, for it sounds creepy to me, hehe
It was fantastic! A bit of eskimos style but no matter what with walking, movement and fire you can easily warm yourself up.
We like to test ourselves and maybe one day a outdoor experience in the snow will follow. ❄️🥶😁
We try to spent time nicely in the nature, no matter the weather or bad conditions.
I'm sorry to hear about your phobias, that was not nice from your friends! Hopefully the picture was ok with you and didn't scare you to much.
You know,the best cure for phobias is to expose yourself to object of fear. Slowly slowly, I believe you would manage 💛❤
