Hola amigos. I found this amazing initiative today and I am willing to be a part of it. I am a romantic sort of person and this is why I have chosen the prompt of love. It is very much close to my heart.

What I feel about love

My feeling about love is very beautiful and pure. It is a blissful feeling that has changed the world from Adam, the first person, to Romeo, a famous lover. From a sacrificing father to a philanthropist`s love for his fellow beings, love has been in the air since antiquity. I believe it is a blessing for human beings that makes us more humane. It surely is a beautiful feeling. It is the feeling when a newborn holds your finger with his/her hand

How It Impacts My Life

Love has impacted my life in all ways possible. I am who I am because of love. Self love pushes me to be a better version of myself, it has put me on the path of progress. My love for my parents has shaped me in a better son and a better individual. My parents have taught me how to love each other which makes me more capable for my partner. It has taught me empathy towards others. They say even a kind smile is a gesture of love. I love my job which has made me more productive and happy.

Flip Side of the Coin

However, we all know that there is a flip side of everything and love is no exception. Its flip side is rather ugly and harsh. I know how devastated one feels after the loss of a beloved. I saw my own mother being devastated on the loss of her younger sister. My eyes still fill up with tears whenever I think about that incident because my mother was crying on my shoulder and I still wish I could change that.

For that matter, excess of love is bad too. It snatches away the sense of privacy if the partner is very possessive. It fills the relationship with toxicity and affects our mental health. I have encountered this when I was in college with my partner. It was so challenging that we were at the verge of putting it to a halt.

But, trust me, It is always worth it. It changes the way you look at things.
