Hello everyone, how was your weekend? For me last weekend was a great experience.

The weekend is an occasion that everyone is looking forward to. I was able to take a few days off after a busy period of studying, working, and tests. I recently spent a whole Sunday exploring my city with several friends, learning new things that I wouldn't ordinarily have the chance to learn, and I want to share with everyone about my weekend experiences.

Go to the church

My friend and I visited the Tung Son church in the morning. This church, which is located in the Hoa Son commune, Hoa Vang district, and Tung Son hamlet in Da Nang city, was constructed of stone and binder materials when it was created before 1904. Materials for binding the rocks together include lime, viscous Litsea, and mixed red silk wire. The church is surrounded by numerous trees and constructed with numerous rose-themed domes and pointed ends. The church has been in existence for 118 years as of now but The patterns on the church windows are still intact . Although it was built a long time ago, the church still retains its ancient, unique and rare features.

Unfortunately, the church was being repaired when I got there, so I was unable to step inside and take in the architecture. So as a souvenir, my friend and I went for a walk and snapped some photos.

Have lunch

At noon, we went to the city center together and had a meal at Papa steak restaurant on Dien Bien Phu street. We ordered fried rice, beef fried noodles and a salad. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal.

Enjoy tea and cake

We have afternoon tea in the Quang Trung lane at a small tea and bakery. The tea here has a highly unique flavor because the shop's proprietor is a foreign national. I odered macarons, a costly confection in Vietnam that is well-known in France. The cake layer is light and spongy, and it tastes just fantastic. The sweetness of the cream and the placement of the fruit are the key characteristics of the interior cake, which has many different flavors. The cakes are quite gorgeous in terms of color. The spaciousness here helps me to relax a lot.

Walk on beach

Then my companion and I went for a stroll down the shore. I'm really pleased to be a Da Nang native because Danang, where I live, is one of the cities with stunning beaches in all of Vietnam. Today's sky is equally as lovely; I adore its deep blue hue, which gives me a serene feeling. My buddies and I enjoy playing in the clean, refreshing water of the sea while also letting our feet dangle in the sand. As a memento for my friends and I and as a representation of our arrival in that day, we also scrawled our names in the sand.

Get coffee

In the evening, My friend directed me to Ikigai, a cafe in the heart of the city. This cafe has many branches and the place I go to is on Phan Thanh street. This is my first time to this cafe, my amazement at finding so many trees and such a large space at here. Due to the fact that most cafes in the city center have limited space and few trees.

This cafe's menu is also highly varied, offering a wide variety of items like coffee, smoothies, milk tea, fruit tea, etc.

The cafe is cozy and tastefully arranged, and pictures are also hung inside. along with some really fascinating notes.

I like this cafe very much because it offers a covered air-conditioned space as well as a yard for patrons who prefer to dine outside. This place has a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends; my friend and I talked for three hours here. We exchange daily tales of work, studies, and daily life. Being able to communicate my emotions makes me very joyful, and it also relieves my stress after a long day at work.
