Hey there am @sonofremi and I will participating in the weekend's question for this week. I hope you enjoy.

The Question

From a young age, I grew up in an enclosed system. I wasn't really exposed to the outside world, I was brought up to be sort of an introvert. In my schooling I went to a boarding school, in school I would miss home and I always had this hole in my chest when it was time to go back to school because I was bullied alot by my seniors in school.

The only escape I had was music, me and a couple of my friends would use the lockers and chairs to form melodies and I would rap and sing my sorrows away. As of then, it was just for fun, me and my friends would later form our own little rap group we called KND. At the time after all the stress of the day, I would make a song during night prep and sing it to my friends. It started to become part of me, this is where my love for music came from. Music was an escape from the buĺlies around me, when I sing am the protagonist and I make any event happen, you become the painter and all you need to do is let your imagination lead.

After school I had thought to pursue music, but in my country, the journey to be a music artist is a long and tedious one. Our group broke up immediately after our secondary school education due to the fact that nobody saw a future in music. We all went our separate ways, I haven't spoken to some of them in like 5 years now. My family had never shown any support whatsoever so I started to believe that maybe music may not actually be my thing.

I still love music, so therefore I decided to go solo. In 2017, I opened an audiomack account and I was going through a stage of self discovery and as I changed so did my sound. Due to the stress of my daily life as a student, music is now as an antidepressant to me, when I feel bad or angry. I make a song that connects to that my strong emotion. I still have that dream of becoming big one day, but for now am satisfied with a few people that appreciate my work. You can check out my audiomack page ^Source

I can't imagine dropping music because it literally part of my soul. Funny enough I have never been to any standard studio as an artist, all my songs are basically phone recorded. I need better equipment because my only tools for now are my earpiece and an app called Voloco. Its not enough I know, but am not financially stable at the moment to pay for a standard studio time therefore I have to make due of my avaliable resources. At the end of the day, wherther I go pro or not, I will never stop making music because I love it.
