All In My Head

I tried to take a picture of my head and this was the best I got

There's a well known saying that goes by follow your dreams. When people tell you that, they don't mean it literally though because let's be real some dreams are wild and there's no way people will actually follow some of them. Speaking of dreams, do they have some sort of significance in life? This answer can vary among people but for me, the answer is no.

Most of the time I don't even remember my dream. I kind of sleep late so most of the time I'm just so tired that when I sleep, I'm knocked out cold. Even if I do recall my dream, it's usually something related to what I did before I slept, something I thought about before I slept, an event that's happening in the future, or something that happened recently. For example, maybe I watched a horror move before I went to bed. I will imagine myself being in the horror movie in the dream. Another one could be the time when I was still studying in university and had exams. I would dream of either passing or failing the exams.

Although I don't believe dreams are significant, I do believe they are trying to share the inner thoughts or scientifically speaking our subconscious. Maybe in reality we suppress it but deep down we want it. This seems confusing but I think it will make sense with an example. Let's say someone is attracted to someone and they want to be with them however they realized the person is married. It won't happen in real life but maybe in a dream that person will be together with that person they are attracted to. So in this sense, dreams do share something but is it significant. It's a no for me.

What about you what do you think?

Don't know how to reply you in less than 60 pages of formal write up on what my thoughts about dream. In my early years, I do share the same feeling as you because I watch prawn until late, sometimes even until early morning. There's no time to dream nor get wet before the alarm goes off and I'm off to work. Occasionally I "remember" Stepmom Corey wanted me to do something nasty, which I reluctant but I still did in the dream 🤣, but most of the time like you said, something I left off in work place, or any event thay worries me in the nrar future thats gonna take place.

As my age catching up, family commitments, work and all, my dream "content" started to change. Sometimes, it has no content, but I can feel the "blankness" of that dream. It's like I'm counting down until the alarm goes off. However, the "format" of the dream doesn't change. Story started out of no where. There's no "in the beginning" nor "once upon a time". It's always abruptly found myself standing by the street and war broke out. Or a better version, suddenly Stepmom Corey wanna buy me Ferrari if I do exactly what she told me to 🤣

Go watch if you haven't

Haha I watched this movie when I was a teenager.

What's stepmom corey? I had to google it but it's that blonde girl? I assume something related to prawn lel

Hmmm I wonder if as I grow up the dream content will change haha. Seems a bit random for the war breaking out or it could be a sign your inner desire is for the world to burn?

It's ok you can write a 60 page blog post on it xD while topic is fresh in your mind

Greetings brother. That's right, usually in dreams some fears or anxieties of our subconscious are manifested, and apparently this is what happens with you, it is totally normal. It happens to me too, and in fact those nights I sleep very bad hahaha, I think it is better to have nightmares than to dream with anxieties of something that we are waiting with great anxiety and that every time we fall asleep shows us a different result and hypothetical futures hahaha. A hug for you, happy weekend.

Hey Jesus hope you having a good weekend. Glad I'm not alone haha and there's people that share similar experience as me.

Interesting choice to prefer dream with anxiety than nightmares. Are your nightmares not scary enough for you then? :P I think I've had nightmares before dying but I can't remember them. There was a time when I was really scared of dying

Hi, I love dreams, especially when they don't come true in reality, but when I sleep.😃
