Rizal Monument, Man-Made Lagoon, Different Kinds of Bench, and the Garden of Flowers: Multiple Attractions in One Place

I've been confining myself inside the house, and every time I feel bored, I just go outside to get some fresh air and to look around again. It's not like I am sick or anything, the reason I've been staying inside most of the time is because I don't have much to do. Yeah, I have a lot of time on my hands, and all I do is read manhwa, specifically Yaoi. But I am also starting to read other genres, like adventure and those Isekai series.

And it's been three days since I last visited the market. Market day is the only reason I have to go outside other than to run some errands. And it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get there, it still depends on the route we take. These past few days, I have only visited nearby places, like a few steps away from home. Today is market day, so surely Mom will ask me to visit there again to buy food, or so I thought but its my Mommy D who went to thr market today with her sister.

Anyway, I wasn't able to finish sharing those pictures I took last week, so I'll be sharing them today. I keep on looking at it, to be honest, because I feel like visiting there again just to unwind. I also want to try foods on every food stalls here while enjoying the view, but it'll be just a plan for now. Let's see if this plan will stay a "drawing," or who knows, it might happen soon.

JOSE RIZAL MONUMENT

IMG_20230510_080013.jpg

This is the Rizal Monument, located in Poblacion Bansud Oriental Mindoro, in Town Plaza. I took it while having a morning walk at the entrance. I really love this part of Town Plaza in Poblacion because of how well built it is. I also love the fact that cleanliness here is a priority. You can focus more on its beauty while enjoying it and admiring the whole place. The place has its best view at night, especially when it is lit up with lots of Christmas lights.

This is also the reason why Plaza de Bansud is well known here in Mindoro. And the fact that this place is free for everyone—there's nothing more appealing than that.

By the way, this is what's written on the structure: "IN MEMORY OF THE CENTENARY OF THE MARTYRDOM OF DR. JOSE RIZAL, NATIONAL HERO OF THE PHILIPPINES AND THE PRIDE OF THE MALAY RACE. THIS MONUMENT IS DEDICATED BY THE GRATEFUL FILIPINO PEOPLE IN HIS HONOR." Actually, you can see a lot of the Jose Rizal Monument in the Philippines, in every park. This way, Jose Rizal will never be forgotten, especially his teachings.

As more people visit parks, building this monument in a public place is really the best choice. With this, no one will ever forget Jose Rizal's face.

DIFFERENT KINDS OF BENCH

IMG_20230510_105647.jpg

Moving on, one of the designs of bench here can accommodate two people or more, I think. It's good for every couple out there who wants to have a date.

IMG_20230510_114353.jpg

A family-type bench with a table. This one is for a family that's having a picnic or even a group of friends on a Sunday date.

And here's another design. I kind of like this because of the design. I think this one is a newly built one, I'm not sure, it was my first time seeing it that day, so maybe. And just like the other designs of benches, it is also placed in a different spot on the circle in the plaza. Cute, isn't it?

There's actually more of a different design of bench in Plazaz I just couldn't capture it because there were people at that time in some particular spot in Plaza. I am too shy to even capture all of these, to be honest.

MAN-MADE LAGOON ON DIFFERENT ANGLES

This is one of the best spots here, you can even watch those fish swimming on the water while enjoying your day with your family and friends. You can even rent a boat and drive it on your own. I'm not sure how much the rate is per hour or minute, but it is very affordable.

The last time we rented a boat here was when I was still in high school, during the Christmas Party. It's been so long already, like 7 years, I think. I was with classmates and friends at that time, so even if I didn't have any idea how to paddle, I still learned it because of my friends who were with me at that time, it's challenging because I don't know what direction to take but then, we still made it to the ground, lol. It's fun.

I'm not sure if I want to ride on it again, but I am not fond of the water right now, so maybe I'll just stay on the ground while watching those lovebirds have a date in a boat. Or maybe, once I find my other half, I'll grab him here and go ride in it together while holding each other's hands. We will just hire someone who can do the paddling. Charrrr, lol, in my dreams, no, lol.

THE GARDEN OF FLOWERS

A place becomes more beautiful if it is surrounded by different kinds of flowers, whether a flower on a tree or a whole lot of flowers. The garden of flowers and the people who are staying here, enjoying their time, are the best views that you can see in a park. Those who have found peace just by looking around or just watching people can surely relate to this.

When I am having a walk here, I can't really help but stare at those flowers because I really find them beautiful and, at the same time, comforting. And my favorite is this flower that blooms on a tree. I'm not sure of its name, but having this here is really helpful, especially since I also love to look at the sky, so imagine looking at those flowers with the sky and a cloud as a background, it's exhilarating!

Beautiful, isn't it? ( ◜‿◝ )♡

This is Plaza de Bansud located just along the highway in Poblacion Bansud Oriental Mindoro. You'll never get bored visiting here.

Hello @ruffatotmeee, wuao, I loved your post. What a beauty, there is nothing more pleasant than enjoying nature and the beautiful places that provide the environments where we develop. To praise and recognize the great heroes who did good things for their people is a beautiful and praiseworthy work, they are part of the great stories of the people. The photos are beautiful. One of the trees looks like the trinitaria that is here in my country Venezuela (🇻🇪).

Hello (◍•ᴗ•◍) thank you, being with nature is surely incredible. Seeing them with my own eyes is a blessing. I'm glad you enjoy it (◍•ᴗ•◍)

Whenever I see a Jose Rizal Monument, it takes me back to my old book, Civics and Culture when I was in Grade 2, heheh. Honestly, I have not been here but the memory of my book with this fact was so vividly clear sis. You know, Jose Rizal is the first one that we will learn during grade school for being our National Hero. Hehe. Please take me here! Best regards sis.

I wish I had that much time for myself. Anyway, what a nice place to visit. I would sit there with my laptop (I hope there's electricity somewhere close) and would work while enjoying the surroundings.

Oh, doing your work or even a project would be good here and you'll be accompanied by a cold breeze. Thr problem is the electricity, I hope they put them somewhere here. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
