This weekend, I decided to push my limits and embark on an unforgettable adventure with my kids and niece. Our goal: to reach Sabas Nieves, one of the most iconic points of El Ávila.
El Ávila, our beloved Caracas mountain, has always been a symbol of strength and resilience. Climbing to Sabas Nieves is quite a challenge, but it's also a rewarding experience. Every step, every stair, every meter traveled was a small victory. Seeing the city from the heights is simply magical, but the most rewarding part was being able to share this moment with my children.
As a mom, I'm always looking for ways to be a good role model for my kids and to foster in them a love of sports and nature. Climbing El Ávila was a perfect opportunity to show them that with effort and dedication, great goals can be achieved. Although fatigue was present at times, the excitement of reaching the summit surpassed everything.
This weekend will be etched in my memory as one of the most special. El Ávila is not just a mountain, it is a symbol of personal overcoming and an inexhaustible source of inspiration. I am proud to have been able to share this experience with my family and to have shown that, even as a mom, one can be active and adventurous
