This weekend I decided to spoil my little ones and embark on a long-overdue culinary adventure. Las Arepas de Margaret, a place that my friend @geraal07l had recommended to me ad nauseam, was our next stop, and it was well worth the wait!
Located on the Venezuelan coast, in the state of La Guaira, this restaurant is a true paradise for arepas lovers. Upon arrival, the aroma of freshly made corn and the sounds of people chatting created a cozy and familiar atmosphere. We asked for a table near the window, from where we had a spectacular view of the sea.
Without thinking twice, I ordered a shrimp arepa and a Malta. The combination was simply perfect: the arepa dough, soft and fluffy, contrasted deliciously with the intense flavor of the shrimp. Each bite was an explosion of flavor that transported me directly to Venezuela. My children, on the other hand, opted for simpler but equally tasty arepas.
As we enjoyed our meal, we watched the sun slowly set over the horizon, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm, the ideal place to disconnect from the routine and have a nice time with the family.
Margaret's Arepas not only stand out for their food, but also for their friendly and attentive service. The employees made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
Without a doubt, this experience exceeded all my expectations. Margaret's Arepas have become one of my favorite places to enjoy authentic Venezuelan cuisine. I recommend this place to all those who are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere.
