LOOKING AT THE PAST

When you are going through an article or just seeing through an object that explains about you or your life in a way, you feel elated and suddenly get something to talk about either from the past or present. This is what happened when reading @galenkp post few minutes ago. There are many options that speak about creativity, and as I am not creative with drawing or painting, neither do I have something I have drawn before or molded an image just like him, I am creative in putting words together to make a meaning.

I choose one of the options that says;
Post a single photo, that means only one, from your phone camera and tell us about it: Where, what, when, why and also why you selected that particular photo to post about - What appeals to you about it and why you shared it.

Reading through it, I started thinking of what image to use and my mind went straight to this picture of when I was still a baby.

Looking at this image, there are many stories behind it, what I have passed through and how I have become who I am today. I am the one putting on a hat sitting next to my younger sister. I have this picture saved on my phone and whenever I think about what I have turned into today, I look through into the image, smile and thank God for life.

It has been a long journey so far with both of us and other siblings and if I am foretold then that I would be who I am today, Perhaps I would have denied it then. There have been mistakes we tried to correct, ways we have passed through but we scaled through them by God´s grace.

The photo was taken many years ago and very soon, I will be clocking another year next month which would make me keep growing as a beautiful and independent lady.

One thing I was made to know while I was very young was that I love doing what my mind tells me to do. Though I seek advice from people, I still would follow my heart no matter what happen.

Design and create your ideal life, don't live it by default - Tomorrow isn't promised so be humble and kind.

If you want an ideal and beautiful life, you have to create it yourself. No one would live it for you, your attitude and behavior would. Two things makes the world better for you which are humility and kindness.

My parent taught me this and till today, when I look through the picture, it has been grace for such attitudes. The little girl has now become a grown up lady coupled with life lessons that has kept me going till today.
