Engagement 239 A good friend

Greetings my Weekend friends, this is the first Engagement of 2025 and for me there is no better start than highlighting the importance of Friendship and a good friend.

I consider myself a very lucky person because I have 4 friends for 60 years, who are my sisters, because we have grown together as people and as professionals..

I have managed to cultivate along the way other very good friends including @zorili91.

For me a good friend is someone you can trust, who supports you in difficult moments and celebrates with you in happy moments

As friends we feel as our own the achievements and successes of our friends, we cry and deeply feel each setback and we draw strength to lift our friend up, looking for the best option to get back on the road to wellbeing,

A good friend cares about your feelings, you see able to know by a gesture, a word, how you react etc. that something is wrong and knows how to make you feel better, sometimes you do not need to talk just be there.

Friends are those who look you in the face and tell you what they think even if you don't like it or it may hurt you, but the truth that comes from the heart, healthy, open and sincere, helps us to reflect and be better people.

On many occasions our friends may make mistakes and we may not agree on a decision, but we are loyal to our love and we are at their side to lend a hand when they are stuck because of their mistake.

Anyway, being good friends does not mean that we always agree, it means that we respect each other, we love each other, we forgive each other and above all we trust each other.

My friends have always accompanied me in this journey that is called life and together believe me we have endured great burdens, which have been bearable because of the bonds that unite us, we are more than friends, we are sisters because we decided to be so and we have never betrayed those principles.

I show you the wedding photo of a dear friend who fell in love with a man 20 years younger and decided to get married from one week to the next.

We talked openly about the consequences of her decision, but she was conscious, we reached an agreement that she would get married with separation of property and that way she would protect herself a little.

We were always by her side supporting her, she suffered the ill-intentioned comments of many, but she is a very brave woman, worthy of admiration.True friends are a treasure that we must take care of and value.
