WEEK 143 - Weekend-Engagement initiative, Life and Death Situation

Happy New Month and Happy Weekend!😍
Thanks to @galenkp I have the opportunity to share my story with you.

I'm her Father's daughter, daddy's girlfriend, gist partner and best friend🥰. Taking up the courage to inform him about my plan of leaving home to another state in my country was quite huge. I'm no longer the daddy's little girl, am a grown up woman you know🙃. So I thought, it's high time I launch forth into the world for a personal experience of it.

It was a night of tears and pleading from dad about me not leaving but, my mind was made up already!👌 At the of the last week, January 2022, I took the bold step and launch forth to see the world and it tales.

Some few month after I left home, I was still struggling to get a job as it is in my country Nigeria but I never lost my hope😁 and thanks to God I have a skill(I'm an hair stylist) so with this, I was able to feed 🙂.

Not long after I got a job as a Sales Representative at a mini mart, I got a call that my dad was terribly sick of Ulcer and needed to be operated on. Was terrified by the news, I called home, spoke with my beloved dad, tried helping financially for him to be operated on.

October 11, 2022 it was a Sunday morning after I visited home to stay with my younger ones while mom was with dad at the hospital. Yeah! It was a Sunday morning, couldn't attend church service so I watched online. Was in the compound when I saw some of the elders in the community coming down to me. "How're you daddy's girlfriend"? "Where're your siblings"? One of them asked playfully and then called me closer, "My dear, your boyfriendis gone!" "Go in cloth your younger ones, we need to be there immediately!" Was mute, confused and probably thought this man was trashing nonsense. How can you tell me that my Papa is gone!?

That was it! I never regretted leaving home to experience the world for its fullness cause in it lies the Risk Between LIFE AND DEATH!
Every man on earth walks on that tiny path between Life and Death!
It can be Marriage, Self Esteem, Parental responsibility, Academics etc. Only those who hold unto HOPE will See Life despite the Situation!

I'm still hoping, healing and gradually moving on!
