A quick dip with sand, waves and rainbow

It has been a while since I've been to the seas and enjoy the waves. I am this person who gets excited going to the beach though I haven't learned to swim. I just love being carried by the waves either going somewhere deep but manageable or going back to the shore. Just hearing the sound of the waves, gives a soothing kind of relaxation.

So one Saturday afternoon, my friends and I decided to have a quick dip around Tabuelan seas. Tabulean, Cebu is known for its affordable and beautiful beaches in Northern Cebu. Aside from it only takes a few kilometers to go there from home, I haven't tried, even once, going to its beaches. So, with friends, we started to color our plans.

It was almost four in the afternoon when we reached Tabuelan. We found a semi-private beach where the owner bought the place for vacation but it was the municipality that advised the owner to make it a business. Rooms are constructed aside from the original house of the owner. They also cater to overnight stays. The owner, according to the caretaker, goes here with the family mostly during vacations.

When we reached the beach, it was empty with visitors. It seemed that we owned the whole place. Since it was already four in the afternoon, we took a quick dip. But before that, let's just enjoy the view that we have.

There are mangroves around. There are light bulbs placed in bamboo posts for overnight visitors who wish to take a dip on the beach. They also have a bamboo raft if you want to go around with the water.

On this side are the boats used by local fishermen. What they catch will directly be sold in the fish market nearby - all fresh from the waters.

While we took a quick dip, the skies suddenly drizzled. It felt great and awesome when half of your body is in salt water while the upper half enjoys the rain. With the view, the waves, the rain, it felt good!

Right after the drizzle, look what appeared! It's a RAINBOW!

Our afternoon quick drip ended with a ray of hope. We did not just have a short catch-up, we also had a great time enjoying the view and the waves. And just like the rainbow, may we also bring hope, joy, and colorful hues to the people around us.

It's even better if the beach has no visitors, parang solo nyo ang place, 😊

Parang naging private beach namin. Hehehe. The beach is so simple yet it is soooo peaceful☺️
