Captured Sceneries: The Enchanting Beauty of Hagnaya Beach Resort and Restaurant

Life has been so busy and stressful lately and going on a short escapade and having a rest day is a must to keep balance. Hello, Hivers! It’s been quite a while since I last posted a blog so it’s nice to have had enough time to write about my enjoyable and relaxing trip at Hagnaya Beach Resort and Restaurant last weekend.

This place is near our home but I have never been to this resort before. We were invited to a wedding of some relatives and they chose this place as their reception so I thought it would be a good break from the stressful and busy life lately. The visit was only for a short period, however, every second passed nicely due to the calming views and spots.

This resort can be found in the Northern Part of Cebu on North Hagnaya Wharf Rd, San Remigio, Cebu. The area is wide, perfect for an outing with friends and family. Although the sea is not for swimming, they have pools, playgrounds, basketball courts, spacious parking lots, and a spot where you can sit peacefully with your thoughts and have a relaxing view.

We were greeted with this spacious parking lot at the entrance gate, although they have two parking spaces inside. We parked here because the wedding reception area was located near there.

These structural buildings I think are some of their offered rooms facing the parking lot. Beside it is the reception or the lobby of the resort.

Beside the reception area is where the newly wedded couple held their dinner. While the guests were lining up to enter the hall, I decided to wander and take a tour of the massive area and search for the interesting things that they are popular for.

Over here is the huge park which contains the animal statues, the hagnaya beach resort arch, fountains, the greeneries that added to the clean and relaxing ambiance, and many more that some people find picturesque.

They have two pools, and over this area, you can find one of their pools. The pool was alluring and clean, I wanted to take a dip but we were only here for a short period of time. The small and circular pool with a roof on top is intended for those who want to relax and avoid the scorching sun. They also have lounges to sit in and sunbathe on the side of the pool.

The pool and the park were surrounded by scattered hotel or guest rooms on each side. Cottages were also placed next to the poolside. One thing I love about the place is there is no absence of the greeneries anywhere you go in the huge resort. The flowers also added life to the area.

On the end side or the seaside of the resort can be found this huge mansion which I think is the owner of the resort. They also have a basketball court which is perfect for friends' outings or even family outings.

Beside the huge mansion is this playground with huge old trees used as a shade to block the rays of the sun. This would be ideal for kids not only because of the offered facilities to play in but also because of the combination of fresh air from the sea and the trees. The swings and rocking chairs are perfect for those who would want to sit with their thoughts and relax.

The seaside or the sea is not recommended for swimming because as you can see from the picture, they created a fishpen in here. I think they cultivate ‘dangit’ fish in here. To go to the fishpen area, they built a dock which is also an interesting place to stroll around, especially when the sea tides are high.

Here, you can find a restaurant and a cafe where they sell frappes, coffees, shakes, and milk teas. I haven’t tried their food because we were supposed to eat in the hall that is catered by the wedded couple.

Next to their restaurant and cafe is this pool and water park. This new pool is one of the attractions in the resort; it has a replica of a ship. Inside the ship is a bar with a wine or liquor stool. They also have a mushroom roof in the small and circle pool which is good for relaxing and just taking a dip. Lounges and handiwork chairs are also in the side pool. Basketball rings are placed on the side of the ship which makes it enjoyable for children.

Beside the pool with a ship replica is another park where you can really relax with a view. The air was also fresh and cold. They have more statues of animals, a horse with a carriage, a huge chess board, and chairs where you can sit. We sat there for a while waiting for the program and event for a while.

Lastly, I want to share this pretty pink sky I captured. Just like the sky, this day ended nicely giving me a short break from my busy and stressful days; which helped me refresh my mind. Anyhow, if you got this far reading; I hope you enjoyed it!
