Week #240: A Random Saturday and a random stuffs

Hello There!
It's been a while since my last visit here and I want to take this opportunity to join and share my previous weekend errands.
By the way, Thanks for this initiative @galenkp
Here's my chosen topic "What did you do last weekend? Explain and use your own photos."

Of course, I started it by waking up early and executing my morning routine; breakfast, take a bath and since it's Saturday I had to hit cardio.

I attended my master's class which was not only enriching but also a fantastic way to kickstart my Saturday. Engaging with new ideas and skills often provides a refreshing perspective, and this one was no different just like before, hell yeah! It was so draining and exhausting. LOL!

I only had 2 classes that day so I could go home stroll early.

Once the class wrapped up, I decided to take a short walk to enjoy the crisp air. The simple pleasure of walking while soaking up the local sights is something I cherish. It gives me a chance to clear my mind and appreciate the little things around me.

Antipolo is a newly constructed station this is very helpful, especially for those passengers who need to travel from the province to Manila.

After my quick stroll, I headed to Decathlon to pick up my race kit cause the race will start tomorrow morning.
(G-RUN I picked the 5K category and will share it on my next blog)

After I received my race kit, I explored the store and looked for something useful.

The first thing that comes to my mind is this tent, it is very useful, isn't it? After the race, I can lie down here and go home the next day. It's an overnight marathon JK, LOL!

I only bought these 3 important things; a Water bottle, a mini running bag, and a running shorts.

I felt a surge of excitement as I gathered everything I needed. It’s always thrilling to have fresh gear for a challenge, and I couldn’t help but feel motivated to get out there and prepare.
(Bye Decathlon, Bye Money!💸)

I was about to go home, however, I suddenly felt famished so I dropped by in SM mall to find something to eat.

There are a lot of food stalls inside but I ended up with McDonald's cause I was craving Spicy Chicken and fries. I savored each bite while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Dining alone is sometimes a treat, giving me a moment to reflect and enjoy my own company.

I just finished my meal and while eating the French fries my right arm is making an artwork using tissue as canvas, fries as my brush, ketchup, and gravy as my acrylic & oil. HAHA Everything is ART!

Here's the final result. It should be Totoro but it more looks like Totoro na pagod (Tired Totoro lol)

Next up was a visit to an instrument shop. As a music lover, there’s something truly enchanting about walking into a place filled with guitars, keyboards, and all sorts of musical gadgets. I spent some time exploring, admiring the craftsmanship of various instruments and even indulged in trying out a few. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of creating something beautiful through music.

I've been looking for my Ukulele's bag but I ended up staring at these violins HAHA. It caught my attention maybe it's a sign to start learning this instrument.

To cap off the day, I couldn’t resist stopping by an ice cream shop. Treating myself to a scoop (or two) of my favorite flavor felt like the perfect finale to the adventure-filled day. There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about ice cream that just brings a smile to my face.

image.png

This ice cream is 80% less sugar that's why I enjoyed it.
I got myself a cashew with mango flavor and it tasted so good didn't feel the sugary flavor.

I think I'm satisfied and a little bit tired, time to go home :)

As I made my way back home, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for such a fulfilling Saturday. It was a day filled with small joys and experiences that reminded me of the beauty in everyday life.
Here’s to more spontaneous adventures and the simple pleasures they bring!

That random Saturday makes a random guy happy 😁

That's it for me folks. Thank you for reading, till next time :)

Mooon out 🤙
