Beloved 2021, I will never forget you, you were not easy to live with, but you have left me a wonderful gift. Thank you 2021!
Dear 2022, I am ready!
Hello friends! I've missed the opportunity to participate in some weekend-engagements, but I'm here again, and I want to share with you why 2021 is a memorable year for me.
In the month of March my little princess was born after a three-month pregnancy, it seems incredible, but it is true, if you want to read the details of the story I published it recently.
I found out about my pregnancy in December 2020, so I was aware that I was pregnant only in a period of three months that turned out to be uneventful, everything was quiet and without discomfort.
Due to several factors, the birth of my daughter was through a cesarean section, which was planned for the 38th week of gestation, specifically for Thursday of that week. Due to the pandemic and limited interstate access, my husband's family was not able to accompany us, so it was just him and me, my mom taking care of my little prince who was still two years old at the time.
When I was already in the operating room, and ready for the cesarean section, for some reason my blood pressure suddenly dropped, and I could only say that I could not breathe, so they had to stabilize me before they could take my daughter out.
Once they were able to control my blood pressure, when they opened my uterus they realized that my daughter had changed position, she was crossed, transversely to me, and face down, the incision that they had initially made had to be enlarged, and my daughter did not want to come out, it was only a small movement of one of her legs that allowed one of the doctors to take her out of the uterus.
The cesarean took longer than normal, so my daughter was born with breathing difficulties, and required assistance.
While she and I were in recovery, my attending physician talked to my husband, told him that they almost lost me (which I found out later, I only knew I was having trouble breathing) and that it was not certain that my daughter would be saved, it was one of the most difficult surgical procedures in an obstetrician's career, and the odds are not encouraging in this regard.
I can't even imagine what my husband felt at that moment, and the poor guy was alone in the room, praying to God for us.
Fortunately, everything turned out well and here we both are.
Days later, watching my little prince playing in the living room, I burst into tears just imagining my little boy being left without his mother.
I thank God for this great opportunity I have to take care of my children, and that we are well and healthy.
My husband came back to life when they brought our little princess into the room.
