I think you're making too much out of a simple account creation link, but that's your prerogative. Also, I have that on my account because someone was representing themselves as me recently - I destroyed their account though as one might expect I would.
Anyway, it's all pretty simple...you have an account, so no need to follow that link.
I think you are just taking it a little bit too seriously. Was talking some shite. But okay then. I just thought it was funny and ironic, given the subject matter... but you obviously don't find the humour in it..
