Long walk ahead for a fitness trend.
A couple of weeks ago, my husband’s friend invited him to jog at the CCLEX bridge, and yes, we took the challenge.
The CCLEX bridge is now the longest bridge in the Philippines, which is 8.9 km long. It also has a pathway on both sides so that joggers or bikers can pass through.
Here are a few reminders:
- Pathways are open from 5 am to 3 pm only.
- There's a height limit; kids should be at least 3 ft.
- Do not wear slippers.
- No littering.
- No drones allowed.
- It is a one-way route. Once you go on the route, you cannot go back. You can start either on Cordova or on SRP.
- You need to log your name on the guard post before going for a run/walk.

It was just my husband and his friends who jogged at CCLEX a couple of weeks ago. We initially parked at Mcdo Vestil, near SM Seaside. They started their walk from Mcdo Vestil going to the starting point in SRP, which is for 2 km.
I and SasaGorl went to Il Corso so we could have our own little walk or jog. The mall was still closed at that time, but it's a very nice, quiet, and not crowded place to take a walk or jog too.

After 2 hours, my husband and his friends finished jogging and had breakfast in Jollibee Cordova. Then we met back at McDo near SM Seaside. From Jollibee Cordova, there’s a van going back to Cebu City that will pass by SM Seaside; the fare is 55 pesos.
Last Saturday, they invited us again. My husband wanted me to join, but we don't have a sitter to take care of our SasaGirl. We ended up bringing her with us, just like what we did when we went for a little hike in StarBuks. She didn't jog or walk throughout the path. We carried her here and let her walk or run for a little bit, then carried her again.

However, at the toll gate bound to Cordova, the guards saw my husband carrying SasaGorl and told us that it is not allowed. We have no choice but to put her down and let her walk again for the last 2 km. We took a little bit longer than usual, but it feels good that we were able to do it together.
Oh, there are emergency stops along CCLEX just in case you can't make it. But hey, who wants to press that button anyway? HAHAHAHAHA

Very cool walking bridge. Some exercise and views make it all worth it. I seen some amazing bridges on my recent vacation but unable to capture them as we were in car. I did take pictures but they were horrible, haha.
The sea view is lovely. Here in the Philippines we can still take pictures on some bridges because of the traffic. HAHAHAH, we can at least slow down.
I don't think it would be wise here (in this area I was on vacation recently) unless you like the sounds of horns or choice words thrown your way, haha. I never drove there but horns on vehicles get used a lot, sometimes on very settle things 😆
That's a nice bonding moment with family. I can relate to how you must always bring your child with you, whatever activity you do. 😅 But I'm curious... Why is it not allowed to carry the child at the toll gate?
Perks of having no babysitter, hahaha! Back pain is totally worth it.
We also wanted to ask why, but we're too tired to argue or ask questions hahaha!
