Our past shapes our future. What we are today depends on what we did with our future. There is no today without a yesterday. It is the baby of yesterday who becomes the president of today. A business can look small today but it will become big tomorrow.
Why do I say all these? I am making all these sermons just to drive home my point. I would have achieved much more today if I had applied the right principles when I was growing up. Sometimes, we are influenced by the kind of people and community which we grow up with. Our parents and relatives, as well as friends have a great impact on our lives. It is a good turn when one gets to make the right decisions in his or her life right on time.
I am trying to answer the question of #weekend-engagenent, week 288. The link to the contest is here 👇

The first question is What thing in your past would you love to change?

.
I would love to change the attitude of procrastination and stand up to do whatever thing I want to do on time. I would like to change laziness and embrace hard work. I would like to get myself to accept discipline much more than I did then. In my late 40s, I have observed many things I would have achieved which I didn't because I didn't pay the prices needed then.
That was why I started by stating that our present depends on our past. What we did with our lives yesterday has drastically affected our today. I might have climbed the ladder in some other aspects, but I have discovered several ways I have gotten deficient because I gave in to laziness and procrastination.
Well, there is still hope. There used to say that when there is life there is hope. If you are worried about me, don't. I have realized some of my mistakes and I hope to amend them. Certainly, in the coming year, I am going to make a great difference. So, the race continues with improvement. Do have a great weekend.
