Greetings Community

What change would you like to see in
the world in general by the end of 2026 and why?
Explain.

As we get older, the things we've come to understand and put into practice include wanting peace, or rather, understanding peace from different perspectives. For example, peace resides within each of us, and depending on how we function, that peace is generated and improves the spaces where we live together. We've understood that when we use perception as a theme, comprehend it, and put it into practice, we understand many things, striving for a better balance between our inner selves and the external world that surrounds us.

We began the year (2026) with discouraging news from various parts of the world: earthquakes, fires, and in our country, Venezuela, an event we had long anticipated. This situation, which those of us inside the country—myself included—still leaves me unsure how to feel. I have mixed emotions coupled with uncertainty because many of us understand that this process could take months or years, we don't know for sure, before we return to a better democracy than the one we experienced 27 years ago.

I would like to see a peaceful Venezuela in every sense of the word by the end of 2026, where citizens understand that peace doesn't depend on others, but rather on our own inner selves. For this to happen, we must do personal work so that this peace can be understood and demonstrated to those around us. This is a change we all want, including those outside the country with all their stories. May these processes, which have already begun in full view of the world, be finalized and reach agreements and reconciliations to create a more just society, where institutions and everyone's opinions are respected, and where understanding, tolerance, education, and that characteristic kindness that has always defined Venezuelans flourish.
