We're only a year apart (I'm a 1953 baby) and I reiterate your sentiments, we may, or may not, live as long as our mothers. My Mom reached 90, my granny only made it to 63, ovarian cancer which could have been prevented if she went for regular checks.
Living each day to the fullest becomes more 'urgent' as we get older. Treasure your life as a married couple, I can see you do, it is something so precious yet so fragile!
