[WEEK 240] My Last Wild Weekend // Concert in the city of La Plata

When was the last time you did something a little crazy and wild on the weekend? What and why and how did you feel?

Good Friday afternoon, friends of weekend experiences! In this opportunity, with such good topics, and to resume the activity of choosing one of them and writing, I chose the Wild Weekend option, among others that @galenkp leaves us in this post

First, my older truth. Still young, but now more adult, I have noticed that the crazy weekends no longer go with me many years ago, so the level of craziness has changed too, it is not only the activity but the time in which I return, and so, my last super crazy weekend, actually it was quiet, but I came home with the sun and many years ago I did not do this. I am in the city of Buenos Aires, and about 100 km away is the capital of the country, the city of La Plata. This city made me fall in love since the first time I went there, and each and every one of the following ones that saw me riding through its streets. In my perspective, it is a very artistic city, cradle of great musicians, and for that very reason, I went there. One of my favorite rock bands comes from La Plata, and they were playing there.

A “small” show, nothing giant, they are not well known, and that makes it better.
The audience knows each other, and we look forward to these opportunities to toast, party and sing together and shout. The place was really small, and there wasn't much light in the show, so I didn't take any pictures inside, besides there were a lot of people and even some flags waving, you could only party to the rhythm of the music while we jumped together. The truth is that, although the show said 00 hs on time, we all knew it was not going to be like that, we took advantage with my friend and went to dinner. Right next to the place where I picked up the tickets for the show, there was a place to eat. I am very basic for these things, and I don't like to load my stomach too much, but I still ate a whole plate of salchipapa, if you don't know it, it is a delicacy is South America, although I also know people around here who don't know it and have never tried it.After dinner, we went inside.

Once inside, already very hot, I had a beer, and the show was slow to start.By the time they started, the classic songs were not long in coming, and neither were the new songs.A beautiful mix, a great feeling. Live shows always leave me with this emotion on the surface, and it is that everything is experienced a little stronger collectively, being so many and so ready to celebrate.I was completely happy while the show lasted, except for a 20 minute break, there was no time to rest, when I wanted to realize, the show was ending, they turned on the lights, and I was only thinking about sleeping haha All the tiredness took over me immediately.

When we left the venue, another journey awaited us, back to our neighborhoods.100 km is about an hour's drive, and I had gone by motorcycle with my friend. It was already 4.30 in the morning, we started our way back, but I immediately asked him to stop for a coffee, besides at that hour, and after the excitement of the concert, it was cold. And of course, the road. Although we had a coat, we found 3 gas stations without coffee, and in the 4th one we could sit down for a few minutes and drink a hot coffee. There I took the last pictures, at dawn. The sun was slowly peeking out, but when I got home and to my bed, although I was very happy with the night, it was 6am and the sun was already quite high, and the birds were singing haha.

An experience that I only dare to do for this band, since they don't play very often, but definitely, I'm a grandma at 35 years old and I prefer to sleep early haha, I hope you liked my post today.
Big hugs!!!

Thanks for reading me, Kiki✨
