This year I decided to do some maintenance. Well, I can say I wanted to restore the house; it was in very bad shape. I almost sold it, but I couldn't afford to fix it up. In 2026, I'll continue improving my home.
I was able to fix the air conditioners, and I also painted some of the walls, but there are three things that still need to be done and are a priority for 2026. These three things are: waterproofing, as there are many leaks; painting the railings, all the enameled parts, and the door frames; and finally, painting the entire interior of the house.
I'll try to do all of this in four quarters. I feel I'll manage it; I only ask God for life and health.
Most of us know that the place where we live is our silver cup—I'd even say our golden cup. It's so comforting to have a clean, well-organized home. I love seeing white walls; I love the color white—it creates peace and a sense of spaciousness.
This year I was able to declutter and get rid of many things I no longer liked, like the dining room set, living room furniture, and bed. I've seen a lot of deals, and I'll share my progress with you. I'm sure our friend @galenkp will have some offers coming up sometime this week. I'm sure that around this time in 2026 I'll have something really nice.
We must continue working to achieve everything we set our minds to. Everything is possible with God's help.
