Isn't is maddening how governments work sometimes??? Spending hundreds of millions here and there like they are tokens at an arcade and for the most ridiculous things. Leaving all the lights on and not turning them off is just a prime example of a little change the could be made.

I have a thought about nuclear weapons though- having them acts as a deterrent for getting into war most times I would think, so in that way th ey can be helpful, but it doesn't do much good if they are in the hands of evil men for sure.
