Lake City, FL.

Pookyville Cat Ranch is near the i10 / i75 intersection. We will get 40+ mph winds if it stays the course. If it jogs north/left we are screwed.

We had 80's and a few 100 mph gusts on Helene. Lost over 20 trees here on the Ranch/Tree Farm.

Please make it stop already. Back in 2017 a neighbor told me our property was as nice as some golf courses.

Now it looks like a war zone...

Yes, I saw your photos under GKP's posts (I am one to read others' comments) all those beautiful big trees - devastating.

Milton is going to hit FLA smack on, he's a beast that's going to be ugly. For now there is 'only' a tropical storm warning for your area but that could change so quickly. Storm predictions have gotten pretty good but still, it is nature and it continues to be unpredictable. I assume you're going to hunker down and wait it out - are you at least a little bit higher up to be safe from flooding?

This was hurricane Debbie. 15+ inches will just about flood to our doorsteps. If we have 30+ like NC did two weeks ago. I am sure we would have flood damage. Most rainfall we have seen in one storm was Tropical storm Debby in 2012 (17 inches) followed closely by Hurricane Debbie a few months ago at 15 inches. Seen in these photos.

Oh gosh, crazy or krazzy? You stay safe down there!

How did it go? Milton stayed a little further south however, heavy rain up north, sooo... I hope you were spared the worst.

Was not much here. That wind sheer really took it to the south east of us.
