Running Errands and babysitting

Hello hive fam. I’m glad to be alive to share with you how I spent my weekend in Ghana, precisely in the northern region named Tamale. Others choose to call it the sun land😄. Ghana is hot but it’s hotter in the north. I barely go out on a weekend or a holiday. Left on to me, I can stay in the room for a month if I had the choice but work won’t permit me.

Since we muslims are in our holy month,the month of fasting, Ramadan. I woke up at dawn to have my Suhur. Suhur is what we eat to fast. After eating at around 4:50am, I prayed and went back to sleep.

At around 7:50am my elder sister who is married and isn’t staying in our house anymore called me to come around and run her errands. I was angry for a while since she interrupted my sweet sleep. A major reason why I put my phone on silent 🔕 before taking a nap. I’m moved by sounds and would wake up by the slightest sound. Once I’m awake, I can’t go back to sleep. Since my sister knows that exactly about me, when she called through without any answer twice, she quickly called through my mom’s phone instead and that’s how come she got me. She does that most times whenever she can’t reach out to me.

I had no choice than to get up , do my daily chores and bath to her place.
When I got to her house, inside her kitchen, there were lots of dirty dishes in the sink already waiting for me. I washed everything and went to take notes of the things she wants me to buy for her in the market.

My sister delivered a baby girl a month ago. Before I left her home, she asked me to pass by a daycare store to ask the price of a car baby seat and send her pictures so she decides which to buy.

From there I went inside the market and bought all that was required of me to get. At the entrance of the market, was the meat seller. Hence I bought both the cow meat and intestines one and a half pound as measured on the weighing scale.

Next I moved to the beans seller. She really “did me fine”. I was attracted by how she received me and has just gotten a loyal customer. I will continue to buy from her whenever I need some.

After buying everything I needed in the market, I had to go to the supermarket to get the sausage and gizzard.

At the bus station, there is a a very nice beverage I mostly buy. I decided to stop and buy some to take home and break my fast with it.

My sister and her husband came to pick me in town so we can go and buy the car baby seat together. I sat in the car with baby while they entered the shop. Like I said , Tamale is very hot for the newly born. We were able to purchase the car baby seat.

They dropped me home. I prepared supper and waited for the time to break my fast. After breaking my fast and offering my prayers, I worked out as usual, showered and went to sleep. I was so exhausted.
