For someone who has a routine and tight work schedule during the week, weekends are the most eagerly awaited time. There are lots of fun things to do on the weekend, and I am one of those people who would never take my weekend for granted.

My weekends are organized

As a long-awaited time for every weekend, I have made it a habit to always make my weekend manageable.

It is very important to spend the weekend meaningfully, especially with and for loved ones who always support and strengthen you.

Weekends for me are Saturdays and Sundays. I always reserve one or even both days for my wife and children, who need my presence. Only on weekends is full time for fun, and I have 1 x full 24 hours a day for them.

You and the people you love definitely both need each other, and if you miss your weekend, a lot of valuable time will be wasted, and that time will never come back again.

One small example

This is just one small example of how my weekend is organized. Hopefully, the example I have given can illustrate what I mean by being organized at the weekend.

This weekend, my son and I have decided to work on adding two CCTV units at two important points. We both agreed that we would install the two CCTVs ourselves and would not call a technician to install them.

The two of us have studied together about CCTV working systems, planned the installation system and cable network, and completed the required tools and installation materials. We just had to act.

Several times, we experienced problems installing the two CCTV units, and I asked my son to look for solutions on the internet and in the manual book. Finally, we were able to complete the installation of the two CCTV units.

When I was installing a CCTV, which was my responsibility, my son suddenly called me via his handy talkie with a voice like he was having problems and asked me to immediately come to the place where he was installing the unit.
You know? It turned out he had prepared a surprise there; he treated me to a glass of ice cream.

During the installation process, we communicated with each other via 2 HT units, and we even joked more by teasing each other. We talked more about things outside the CCTV topic.

The importance of my weekends being organized

I always ask my loved ones what we are going to do with our weekend. Sometimes my kids come up with ideas for our weekend ahead of time.

If there are many ideas that arise, we have to discuss them to determine our weekend activities. We share tasks and responsibilities to make it clear who will do what. We even took turns being captains during our weekend activities.

We don't want our time and opportunity to gather to be ruined by things that are beyond our predictions. We had a commitment that if we didn't organize our weekends together, then “we would be further apart” because of our busy routines. Parents are busy working, and children are busy with their school activities.

Being together at the weekend has created closeness in the involvement of all loved ones at the weekend. An organized and structured weekend will further foster togetherness, and one of my main goals as a parent is to shape my children's personalities through various fun activities on the weekend.
