If there are three words that can describe my life so far, that would be: stressful, memorable, and excitement.
Over the past few weeks, my life has been filled with nothing but stress mostly from academics and household responsibilities.
Two weeks ago, we had our final exams. And the week before that? It’s a hell week! Exams and school projects are all piled up, all due within just a few days. Every day, I kept wishing for it all to be over.

But the thing that stressed me out the most was our research project. Just last Thursday, we had our research defense and believe it or not, we were still writing our paper few hours before our defense. In the end, we weren’t able to defend our paper and now we have to regather our data. Until now we’re still working on it. What a life!

Despite with all the academic pressure, I can still say that my life is memorable. This year is my last year in high school, and it has truly been unforgettable. I tried new things, stepped out of my comfort zone, and was able to explore my capabilities.

I also made new friends and slowly improved my social skills. My life may not be perfect, but it’s filled with memorable memories. I hope to create more good memories with my friends and family—especially as I step into college.
Just by thinking about… in a few weeks, I’ll be looking at myself wearing a toga and a graduation cap. It makes me feel excited! Finally, I can now see my academic hard work for almost 12 years of studying.

But what excites me the most is the new journey awaiting for me. I’m now stepping out of high school and stepping in into college life, where reality exists. I might not feel fully prepared but, but I hope I can overcome all the challenges ahead.
Right now, I feel content with how my life is going. But that doesn’t mean I’m not looking to grow. Even if I feel content, I’ll always keep seeking ways to improve myself.

Its hasn't been easy with the stress lately but we need to also take time to rest our brain well
Indeed, when I always feel too exhausted I always choose to sleep rather than pressuring myself on reviewing my notes or doing my projects...
Hmmm, it's like it is more balance no, I mean your life. Despite all the walang katupusang grind, may failures pa nga, at least may happy moments pa rin that nake you excited. Cheer up palagi guys, kaya nyo yan. Uwu
Gusto ko na lang talaga magbaksyon 😭😭
These past few weeks have been super draining too—finals, projects, all piling up. But reading your post made me realize I’m not alone. We’re all fighting our own battles, but still finding moments to grow and enjoy
It’s been a lot lately, and it helps to know others are going through it too. We’re all just doing our best, and that’s enough. Hang in there—fighting! 🫶
I understand the challenges that you are undergoing as a student with different school requirements to accomplish as well as obligations at home. I can relate with your anxieties; when I was a student I felt the same way too; I/we kept hoping that the semester would end soon. I can say that high school period was the most memorable for me in my student life. You will be in college soon, so, just enjoy these moments at school because time is fleeting.
My brother also told me that high school life is the most memorable. Sadly, some of my high school years were during the pandemic, but they’re still special in their own way. I’ll definitely try to enjoy every moment moving forward.
stress, memorable and excited - that doesn't sound too bad! Stressful times are part of life, but as long as you can still see the time as memorable and exciting, it's the good stress. As soon as you can't see them anymore - be careful!
Wishing you all the best for college! What are you going to study? Or a gap year first? Or a trade school?
Totally true! That’s why I sometimes see stress as a challenge I need to overcome 😂 Anyway, I’m planning to go for something agriculture-related in college.
I recommend to focus on how to adapt agricultural techniques to climate stress and all those coming challenges for agriculture... I did some courses in Organic Agriculture, Soil Preservation and related things. Even a course on watering techniques when I was on exchange here in Ecuador. That was very interesting, the Israelis really have shit figured out on how to use water efficiently. And the Ecuadorians use the "oldy but goldy" - dirt channels within the field that the water is channeled into. Looks easy, but is very hard.
Parts of my family has farms, it's a very interesting area, and I always liked it. Except for collecting stones in autumn at 6am, that was way too cold and wet and no matter how many socks you put on, your feet would freeze. But I hope you enjoy the studies!
I’m glad there is also someone interested in agriculture… 🫶 I’ll surely take note of your recommendations
