What is one of your favourite celebrations of the year to enjoy and why. How do you prepare for it, what's involved with the celebration and so on.

Hi everyone, firstly I would like to thank the admin and everyone in this great community for building such a wonderful platform and the opportunity to tell our stories to the world and also giving listening hears to all we have to say.

As you all know my name still remains joshsticks28, I'm a musician and I would like to share with you guys one of my favorite celebration of year and how I do prepare for it.
Well, it's my favorite celebration of year aside from my birthday celebration, it is non arguably my favorite celebration which is the Christmas carol on Christmas Eve.

Now, the reason for me loving and preparing so hard for this celebration is because it happens once a year and more importantly it's because of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ who died for us. So you can see it worth making it my favorite.

HOW IS IT MY FAVORITE

1. It's my favorite celebration because it happens once a year just like a life time event or celebration. You only get to experience it once in a year and I'm sure you have to make it a worthwhile for the sake of good memories.

2. Another reason why it's my favorite celebration is i do get to see my family, close relatives, friends and everyone that have gone awol trying to make end living on one way or the other. So I get to meet with all of them once more in sound health and mind.

3. It's a season of holiday for everyone including little children that are still in creche, high school, college and also the working class people.

4. We get to share stuffs with each other. For example like gifts, foods, drinks like wines and lots more.

It's a season of love as well because God himself commanded us to love one another as we love ourselves. That's one of the sole reason for this celebration.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR IT

Well, for me the preparation for this celebration or this wonderful eve starts as soon as we get to the months of "EMBER" I usually do start preparing for it during that time cause I know by the time we get closer to the eve things start getting intense and expensive to get in terms of getting food items, clothing materials and other stuff for the celebration. For some people they do prepare long before we to "EMBER" months. Forme I just chose to start my preparation close to that time.

My preparation also includes involving my folks for proper planning like the old saying " two heads are far better than one" which is true and knowing fully well that I ain't going to be the only one celebrating the eve so, I'll have to involve everyone else and also invites as many people I could afford to share gifts and food with. Like I said it only happens once a year, yeah! Just like a lifetime event.

More importantly why it's my favorite is also because we also get to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ in the church as "XMAS CAROL" singing series of songs just to celebrate Him, and as a musician which I'm i do rehears with my band members and the choristers as well to make the event and eventful one.

I do get a lot of fun playing musical instrument so, rehearsing for a longer period of time is never a dull moment for me. So one of the beautiful songs we do render for the celebration are; well I should be able to list out ten(10) general songs that are widely common and around the world for this celebration.

Now, come to think of it who wouldn't like to celebrate Xmas? O of course no one. We all love Xmas and make it a memorable one cause we only get to celebrate it once in a year. So non arguably this celebration is my favorite of the year no doubt. Smiles.
