Peaceful, would suite me fine with a little roofing and good sweep, solitude high on the mountain so don't dismantle it too much.
Children must have enjoyed romping around the area when visiting, can imagine the fun you had growing up there too.

To enjoy being a hermit... you tell no one about destination, finding the right place would be a problem, obviously no corner candy store near by.
That is what I miss is the open spaces we enjoyed as children, once chores were done you only needed to be home before dark.

Yeah, I wouldn't miss the candy store but I would need electricity and Internet though 🤣
True, the kids nowadays don't know such anymore, maybe on the countryside, but since computer games and the Internet have come up, the forest or nature in general isn't interesting anymore. Just imagine, they have never eaten a rain worm 😄

Children have missed a lot in learning bush craft lifestyle, however they have learned things we do not know, perhaps at the end of the day it balances out somehow.
All ones needs is on the land, just need to learn how to identify edibles, a solar system and water that shabby little hut could be a dream come true!
